The kitten was desperately trying to get at my brownies this morning.
(I don’t blame her because they are dark chocolate fudgy kahlua brownies
and who am I to judge if you crave boozy treats in the morning)
Hence why this photo has a part of a kitten in it.
1 box of dark chocolate Ghirardelli brownie mix
1/2 cup of oil
1/4 of water OR Kahlua (I used water)
If using water in the batter then you need about 1/2 a mini bottle of Kahlua for after the brownies finish baking
Mix ingredients together, bake at 325 F for about 40 mins., remove from oven and let cool.
Once brownies have formed a cooled crust, stab it (not too viciously) with a fork all over.
Then simply use a brush of some sort to brush the Kahlua all over the brownies and place in the fridge until ready to eat or serve immediately (however they will be a little hard to cut and serve since you just doused them in Kahlua)
